As time moves forward, world records are growing more and more impressive. Closer are we growing towards a place where World Records are near unbeatable. With that said, it is awesome to see that Kinnijup is swooping in and getting many world records that were originally thought to be at the best they could. When SpelunkyGod achieved the score world record of $3,445,975, Kinni seemed to have upped his game. He has already conquered two of the main 4 categories, but with this new run, he now has taken hold over 75% of the main categories with his new score world record of $3,449,650!
To start, the run begins with Kinni getting an optimal score shop, with a jetpack and mattock, as well as the udjat eye on 1-2. The level turned out to be exceptionally good and was a 160K level without a vault! 1-3 was a snake pit with an overkill number of gems. So much to the point that he managed to gather 195K from this without a vault. Proceeding with his new mattock, Kinni entered 1-4 and got an average level of 160K including the vault.
Overall, the mines totaled to a massive 516K! This is incredible, and very rarely have the mines been any more generous than this.
2-1 was a dark level that provided resources for the rest of the run. A specialty shop gave two extra mattocks, and Kinni managed 111K using the remainder of one and using up one of the new ones. 2-2 Was a bit weaker, containing only 69K, but fortunately he got a Black Market entrance and a kapala out of the level. The Black Market made up for the lesser score in 2-2 by containing 131K. Kinni also gained 24 more bombs from here. In 2-4, he destroyed an altar to get the ball & chain. With that and the vault, the level summed up to 202K.
In total, Kinni left the jungle with a little over 1 million! This is a great pace that is fairly uncommon to attain
3-1 was a wet fur level, where Kinni managed a 78K level. He proceeded to yet another wet fur, only giving a mere 41K. With 3-3 came the moai, which Kinni used the ball & chain to grab the moai diamond, turning out to be beneficial to the run. Collecting money from the vault, he left the level with 135K. 3-4 was an average level that gained an extra 53K. Kinni made quick work of the mothership and left with an extra 105K, robot, and the plasma cannon! The second 3-4 provided him with another 63K.
To this point, Kinni entered the temple with 1.5 million
4-1 was a good start to the temple, giving 156K. 4-2 Was even better, with an idol and vault contributing to a total of 226K. The City of Gold was also exceptionally good, contributing 604K to his score. Olmec had a score that was above average, giving him 110K without ghosting.
Kinni had 2.6 million into hell!
Hell had a great start with a 191K 5-1! In 5-2, Kinni upped his game after collecting 179K by destroying a 5-2 altar. This would enable permaghost, where the ghost will follow you into any level, so long as you had the ball & chain. With this restriction, 5-3 can become one of the most challenging and stressful parts of the run. To put it into perspective, compare it to the average 10-15 minute levels that are usually played. Kinni spent over 40 minutes on 5-3 alone. After successfully gaining 147K from 5-3, it was time to enter the final level. In Yama's chamber, he got 320K from ghosting the rubies under Yama's throne. Unfortunately, this was not enough for a world record. As Kinni made his way up, he found a stray pot. Bombing this pot saved the run! It gave a single extra ruby, which he then ghosted to reclaim the score world record!

The run ended with a final score of $3,449,650
In conclusion, this run had some incredible plays! The dark 2-1, taking ball & chain from 2-4 through 2 wet furs into 3-3 for the moai gem, and having permaghost through a 40+ minute 5-3 are all examples of how well Kinni played this! Closer are we getting to reaching an impassable point for score world record, and time will tell how well this run holds up. Way to go Kinni for all your hard work! Thanks for your contributions to the community and being an awesome person over the years. Good luck with your future endeavors, and here's to more world records from you in the future!
